Currently, the department maintains cooperation with leading universities of near and far abroad countries: Technical University of Munich (Germany), Beijing Chemical Technology University (China), Institute of Chemical Technology (Czech Republic), Gubkin Russian State University of Oil and Gas, Ufa State Petroleum Technical University, Institute of Petrochemical Processing of the Republic of Bashkortostan; Kazan National Research Technological University, Sakharov International State Ecological University (Minsk, Belarus), Kuban State Technological University, Samara State Technological University, D.I. Mendeleev Russian Chemical Technology University, A.R. Beruni Tashkent State Technical University, Tashkent Chemical-Technological Institute, Institute of General and Inorganic Chemistry of the Academy of Sciences of the RUz, Bukhara Institute of Engineering and Technology.
In 2022, a cooperation agreement was signed with V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University in the field of:
1) Academic mobility of students and teaching staff.
2) Attraction of foreign scientists.
3) Scientific and research activities.
Within the framework of the CIS Network University, there are master's degree programs in educational programs:
- Oil Refining Technology (Gubkin Russian State University of Oil and Gas);
-Chemical Technology of Fuel and Gas (Kuban State Technological University);
-Oil and gas refining technology (Samara State Technical University).
Thus, in the 2014-2015 academic year the master's student Nikitenko A. received a double diploma with honors from the Gubkin Oil and Gas Russian State University.
In 2015-2016 Master's student Tleuov D. is graduated from the same program.
At present, 1 master's student from Samara State Technical University is studying on the joint master's program "Technology of oil and gas processing".
To achieve high performance of the educational process at the University it is practiced to invite scientists from leading universities of near and far abroad. So, in the period from 2014 to 2021 the following were invited to the department for lecturing, scientific guidance and consultations of doctoral students: V.M. Kapustin- doctor of science, professor, head of the Department I.M. Gubkin Oil and Gas Technology Russian State University, Ivakhnenko A.P. - professor at Heriot-Watt University (Scotland), Eliska Vyskocilova (Institute of Chemical Technology, Prague, Czech Republic), Kaj-Olaf Hinriksen - PhD, professor at Technical University of Munich (Germany), Radoslav Pankiewicz - PhD, professor at Adam Mickiewicz University (Poznan, Poland), Jaroslav Katona - PhD, professor at Novi Sad University (Slovenia) and others.
At the department "Oil refining and petrochemical processing" functions international Summer and Winter School of Petroleum Engineering as a type of academic mobility (internal and outgoing) with the involvement of foreign scientists. Students, undergraduates, doctoral candidates and teachers are the attendees of the this school.
