Educational and methodological work of the department
General information about the department
The educational process at the department of "Silicate Technologies and Metallurgy" is carried out in two directions: "Silicate Technologies" and "Metallurgy"
The organization of the educational process is carried out in accordance with the approved working curricula and schedules of the educational process, corresponding to the curricula of educational programs.
Educational and methodological complexes (UMKD) have been compiled for all disciplines. All UMKD are posted in electronic form on the educational portals of the university: http://asu.ukgu.kz/ and http://smart.ukgu.kz/ru/staff/umkd.
All disciplines of the Educational programs are provided with relevant curricula. For all disciplines taught at the department, curricula have been developed, discussed at a meeting of the department, as well as at the Higher School of Chemical Technology and Technology, approved by the vice-rector for academic affairs. UP are compiled taking into account new technologies in education, which include active and interactive teaching methods.
For all disciplines there are syllabuses in the state, Russian and English languages (depending on the language of instruction of students). Work training programs (Syllabuses) are designed in accordance with the QMS SKU PR 7.03-2022 Management of the educational and methodological process.
For the disciplines of the department, a variety of handouts are used: diagrams, tables, graphs; samples of raw materials, semi-finished products, finished products; various layouts, samples of crystal lattices of various compounds, models of simple and real crystal shapes. Handouts from the collection of minerals and rocks are widely used, materials from the department's museum of minerals and rocks, etc. are used.
In the educational process, a video projector with a wall screen (203 A, 208 A) and multimedia boards (106A, 108A, 126-2AB, 126-3AB, 201A, 204A, 205A) are used, where multimedia teaching aids are provided. The INTERNET network is also used as a source of information when performing research, NIRS, UIRS, KP, KR, DP, DR, NIRM.
The necessary educational and methodological literature is available for all taught disciplines of the department. For each discipline, methodological support maps have been developed, taking into account all the literature located in the educational information center of SCU and at the department.
When performing CP, DP, UIRS, NIRS, the following programs are used: Auto CAD 2010 -2016, Corel Drow 14.0.На кафедре каждые полгода, в соответствии с планом проведения открытых занятий осуществляется проведение открытых занятий ведущими преподавателями кафедры.
