Merits and achievements

     A teacher is a sacred concept for a nation and a generation. The work of teachers is enormous in providing their students with knowledge, educating them in a moral spirit, educating them in good qualities. That is why it has become a tradition in our country to honor teachers and award the best on the eve of Teacher's Day.On this occasion, the Teacher's Day was solemnly celebrated at the M.Auezov South Kazakhstan University.The solemn event was opened by the Chairman of the Council-Rector Kozhamzharova D.P., congratulated the teaching staff and students of the educational institution on their professional holiday, and also awarded several teachers for their great personal contribution to the development of education and creative achievements in pedagogical work. Among these teachers, teachers of the Department of Ecology Zhubanys Madina Kanzhigitovna and Ukibai Aisholpan Slanbekovna were also awarded. The evening ended with a concert program that raised the spirits of the teaching staff and students. Congratulations on the Teacher's Day holiday, we sincerely thank you for your hard work in educating the younger generation!

The Department of Ecology has opened an educational and scientific production complex on the basis of the Department of Ecology of Shymkent.

The Department of "Ecology" of the M. Auezov South Kazakhstan University opened an educational and scientific production complex (UNPC) on the basis of the Department of Ecology in Shymkent. The educational and scientific production complex is considered as one of the organizational forms of integration of education, science and production, interaction of higher educational institutions with state organizations, enterprises, industries.

The purpose of the creation of the UNPC of the department is to strengthen the practical training of students and undergraduates, the development of research work of the department and increase the interest of students and undergraduates in research.

The department, together with the department, developed a plan for the current academic year and began conducting practical and laboratory classes on the discipline "Environmental Monitoring" online on the basis of the UNPC. Let our planned work move forward, good luck to all of us!

Opening of the dual education system.

The Department of " Ecology "of the M. Auezov South Kazakhstan University together with" ECOCENTRE-CONSULTING " LLP held the opening ceremony of the dual education system.

Dual training (DO) - this system involves training a specialist simultaneously in two areas-theoretical and practical. 1/3 of the study time receives a basic education at a university, and 2/3 hones skills in production — at an educational enterprise and receives practically important knowledge. The main goal is to train a qualified and competent graduate who has formed basic skills of working in production, to develop a Kazakh model of pre-school education in the system of technical and specialized education.

Dual education, along with the optimal transfer of professional experience, allows you to consolidate your position in the production environment. Businesses benefit from new ideas and impulses that come from students. Upon completion of the training, students can immediately take part in the production.

A memorandum of cooperation in the field of improving environmental education among young people was signed jointly with the Corporate Fund "Fund for the Conservation of Biodiversity of Kazakhstan".

    South Kazakhstan University named after M. Auezov together with the Corporate Fund "Fund for the Conservation of Biodiversity of Kazakhstan" signed a memorandum of cooperation in the field of improving environmental knowledge among young people. The memorandum is a document defining cooperation between the university and the foundation in the implementation of the grant under the project "Improving the efficiency of management of specially protected natural territories of the Western Tien Shan"

    Within the framework of this Memorandum, the University, and in particular, the Department of Ecology, undertakes to assist in the use in the educational process and dissemination among students through social networks of materials containing information about rare and endangered species of animals and plants that live and grow on the territory of the Western Tien Shan, in conducting and actively participating students in the international action "March of Parks" - an action in support of specially protected natural territories (protected areas) located in the Turkestan region. Within the framework of the project, the Foundation undertakes to equip an ecological demonstration site with operating installations using water-saving technologies and renewable energy sources in one of the villages near the buffer zone of the Sairam-Ugam National Park.

    For students of the Department of Ecology, this will be a great help in acquiring high-quality knowledge.

 Scientists of Kazakhstan made a world scientific discovery - they could split one of the most durable metals with chemical methods - titanium. The discovery of the insoluble titanium at room temperature of various parts of titanium - industrial waste to obtain the desired titanium compounds. The authors of the work were awarded medals and diplomas. These are professors, associate professors and doctors of science - Abduali Baeshov, Azhar Baeshova, Gani Iztleuov. Their supervisor was Murat Zhurinov. It took the experts more than ten years to research.

Lecturer of the department "Ecology" Dosbaeva A.M. was awarded the Best Youth Award -2018 in the nomination "Best Teacher"

     SKSU named after M. Auezov higher school "Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology" lecturer of the department "Ecology" Dosbaeva A.M. in honor of the 27 th anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan was nominated for the title of the best youth competition of the city akimat of Shymkent "The Best Teacher".

Д.т.н., профессор  Бахов Ж.К.(2007г.), д.т.н., профессор Шакиров Б.С. (2009г.) и доцент, к.т.н. Сатаева Л.М. (2010г.), к.п.н. Сихымбаева Ж.С. (2013г.), к.т.н., доцент Туребекова Г.З. (2013г.)  стали обладателями государственного гранта МОН РК «Лучший преподаватель вуза».

К.п.н. Сихынбаева Ж.С. получила почетное звание профессора Российской академии Естественных наук. за научный вклад развития инновационных методик преподавания в вузе (2013г.).      

Образовательная программа 050608 – Экология в 2008 году прошла аккредитацию в международном агентстве ASIIN (Германия). Подготовка бакалавров осуществляется на казахском, русском и английском языках. Студенты образовательной программы обучаются по программе академической мобильности в ведущих вузах Казахстана, РФ, дальнего и ближнего зарубежья.
