"Open Day" on the basis of the department "Oil Refining and Petrochemistry"

On February 25, 2022, at the Department of Oil Refining and Petrochemistry, Yu. M. Auezov held an "Open Day" for students of schools and colleges in the city of Shymkent. The event was attended by graduates of schools No. 88, No. 137, No. 80, No. 24, No. 120, No. 47, No. 20, specialized trilingual boarding school No. 2 and students of the South Kazakhstan Polytechnic College. The head of the department, candidate of technical sciences, associate professor Daurenbek N.M. and Dean of the Higher School of CIBT Aytureev M.Zh.

As part of the event, a presentation of educational programs was held: 6B07170 - "Chemical technology of organic substances", 6B07172 - "Technology of oil and gas processing", 6B07280 - "Technology for the production and processing of polymers", 6B07271 - "Technology of pharmaceutical and perfumery and cosmetic programs", clarified general information about the conditions for admission to the university.

The graduates were handed booklets and conducted a tour of the department. Together with doctoral students and undergraduates of the department, students conducted experiments on chemical technology.
