A MEETING WAS HELD WITH STUDENTS ON CRIMES PREVENTION

Today, a meeting on crime prevention was held at M. Auezov South Kazakhstan University. The event was attended by students (including the HT-24-2k group), teachers, representatives and veterans of law enforcement agencies. The organizers were the city prosecutor's office, the department of internal policy and youth affairs, and the city youth resource center.
The initiative was implemented within the framework of the order of the Prosecutor General's Office of Kazakhstan, aimed at increasing legal literacy among the population.
Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs of the University Kurmangali Sarykulov noted the importance of such meetings for young people. Abdiraman Akkulov, an honorary employee of the prosecutor's office, shared examples from judicial practice and reminded students of the importance of avoiding negative influences and making the right choices in life.
And Kaisar Kaldabayev, senior assistant to the prosecutor of Shymkent, noted the increase in crime among young people, especially regarding the sale of drugs through social networks. The representative of the supervisory authority gave examples of how young people got into serious trouble by succumbing to deception. For clarity, the participants were shown a thematic video.
The students' special attention was drawn to the speech of Birzhan Zhakypuli, a famous boxer and Honored Master of Sports of Kazakhstan. He called on young people to lead a healthy lifestyle and give up bad habits.
At the end of the meeting, the students actively discussed the problem of offenses, asked questions and shared their thoughts.
