From March 27 to March 31, 2017, INFaMS was visited by Nikolai Nikolayevich Zobnin, Ph.D. Tech. Sci., Leading specialist of the South Kazakhstan State University. M. Auezov in the field of metallurgy (Republic of Kazakhstan).

NN Zobnin conducted master classes in mathematical modeling, public lectures, as well as a series of meetings with leading scientists, students, graduate students and young scientists.

In the course of the meetings with the director of the Center for International Relations, VN Baranov, Professor PV Polyakov, Professor AF Shimansky, Professor BP Kulikov, the problems and prospects for the development of the metallurgical industry in the world were discussed.

At the master classes students, employees of the ITSM, as well as specialists of OOO Rusal ITC and OJSC Krasnoyarsk Non-Ferrous Metals Plant named after V. N. Gulidov, got acquainted with the technologies of multifactor mathematical modeling using specific software. Using these programs will allow processing of various experimental data.

For students, postgraduates studying in the direction of "Material Science and Technology of Materials" and the staff of the Department of Composite Materials and Physical Chemistry of Production Processes, public lectures were given on the topic "Comparative Analysis of the Effectiveness of Modern Methods for the Production of Silicon Solar 5N, 6N", where topical issues were discussed Modern solar energy.
